Been having too much of those junk food lately... feeling a little gulity about tt... then again i cant seem to concentrate on my work if i dun munch... gosh! My girlfriends hav been there to remind me again and again to break tis very bad habit... before i put on weight again i supposed? Ha!True tts its a very bad habit tt a greedy pig =P like me has gotta break. still its hard to control those curbs u know... i'd rather do tt to watch my health... I jus would like to share, i can truely understand as to y gals r willing to go thru all tt hell to starve and diet... i went thru tis period where i had nothing but diet yogurt as my stable food... seriously i dun wanna think about how horrible tt was, not to mention how often i fell sick...Truth is, i quited all these starving movements of mine couple of years back. we cannot deny tt these r idealisms planted by the makerting media. much of these "idealisms" r often mere fantasies. y harm ur bodies for tt ?Worst when u resort to those slimming pills out there... the more effective it is, the more dangerous it is... i hav been reading much on these issues and realised tt in order to imply weight loss... a certain form of chemical tts harmful to the liver has to be included... tis fact has proven itself all over the press when sumthing once stormed the heart of many in S'pore.I really do believe tt being a girl is such an awesome thing. i luv being a girl. Yet i often see my dear girlfriends so obessesed with tis as a typical gal issue. dieting or rather harming urselves like tis is really no confidence booster, as desired. luv life, luv urselves. theres so many ways to improve ur figure or looks for tt matter...
In the midst of building tis blog, i was told by one of my fellow bloggers tt Moses ( tts my sch's director) has been reading the students blog in order to review about the block teaching scheme.
Then again, it is evident as to how the new system has drastically affect us, fellow designers.
Moses, (if u ever read tis blog) i truely appreciate the fact as to how truely concerned u r about students' welfare. and i understand as to how much u wanna help wif the students and to raise the standards of the sch. So here's my worth of feedback.
I cannot deny tt the new system does not help to allow students to be more focused on their individual subjects, however, the condition varies. Provided if u r onli doing one sub tt block. i was having two subs last block, of which one was heavy, and wad eventually happened was tt not onli me but oso my classmates were frantically rushing to meet the deadline... not to mention coping wif all the stress. i doubt if tis will help to raise the standards of our work. Lecturers even had to reduce their originally intended amount of work jus in order to help the students complete their work in time.
Due to the cramped schedule, tasks often do come in pretty short noticed. the truth is tt we hav to understand tt the lecturers are rushing wif their load of work too. honestly, having to finish assignments within days is freaking scary, worst when ur subs clashes. when tt happens, OMG !
Stress !!! Now, again, is block teaching effective? u deicide... tts jus wad i felt and experienced...
Sign, we still hav to pull through another 2 to 3 blocks i supposed ? another 3 for me though... i dunno if tt spells holidays for me...or anyone of us for tt matter... until there might even be changes in the system... hopefully not with block teaching... mean while JIA YIU !!!
